Kerala colleges to reopen on January 4

BCI releases examination dates for All India Bar Exams

The Kerala government on Wednesday issued an order permitting colleges and higher education institutions in the state to reopen on January 4, 2021.

According to the order, principals, teachers and non-teaching staff are required to attend colleges from December 28, 2020.

Until further notice, all classes will be arranged for a maximum of five hours. This is to facilitate two shifts whenever student strength is higher.

Colleges are expected to operate on a rotation basis with only 50 per cent attendance.

Classes will be arranged on Saturdays as well.

Earlier this week, the state government had issued a notification that the SSLC and Plus Two higher secondary examinations will be held from March 17 to 30.
