This year's Kerala Engineering-Pharmacy entrance examinations will be held on July 24.

The exam for the first paper, Physics-Chemistry, will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second paper Maths will be held from 2.30 am to 5 pm  on the same day.

Online applications for medical and engineering admissions will be accepted soon. A detailed notification for this will be issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations later.

Higher secondary portions won’t be excluded

The higher secondary portions won’t be excluded from the Engineering, Pharmacy entrance exams. Having said that the questions will be easier considering the pandemic scene.

Certain education boards had excluded some portions in the Higher Secondary examination. But the entrance exam will have questions from all sections of the Higher Secondary syllabus. One needs to prepare accordingly.

Since the questions are likely to be easy, the majority of the students are expected to score high marks. But that will also mean there will be more students on the rank list. There will be much competition to bag the best courses from the best universities. The question papers of the entrance examinations are ready. And there won’t be any changes under the circumstances. The government had sent a declaration approving the prospectus. Not many changes have been made to the prospectus. This will be published soon.

There won’t be more than 300 students at an examination centre. Additional centres will be added this time to avoid crowding. The students who are entering the exam hall in the morning will only be allowed to leave the hall after they finish their afternoon exam as well. Therefore the students need to carry their lunch with them.
