Regular classes on KITE-Victers channel from Monday

The regular digital classes on KITE-Victers channel for school students following the Kerala government’s curriculum will start on June 21. Officials said that the trials have already been completed.

However, authorities at the state’s Education Department said that they were yet to finalize the list of students lacking digital facilities to attend the classes. Moreover, procedures to arrange common study centres could not be completed due to the lockdown, they added.

The government was earlier planning to launch the G-Suite platform on which teachers in schools could conduct online classes in July. But this facility would be functional only if the schools have a computer or phone connected to the internet. During the initial phase, academic programmes on this platform will be offered only to students of Classes 10 and 12.
