SSLC results: 99.47% pass percentage, over 1 lakh secure A+ in all subjects | How to check

Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the Kerala SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination held this year were announced by Education Minister V Sivankutty at 2 pm on Wednesday.

Among 4,21,887 students who wrote the regular SSLC exam, 4,19,651 students qualified for higher studies taking the pass percentage for SSLC this year to 99.47% compared to 98.82% last year. With an increase of 0.65%, Kerala set the record of securing the highest pass percentage in SSLC this year.

1,21,318 students secured A plus in all subjects as opposed 41,906 students last year. 

Among the revenue districts, Kannur secured the highest pass percentage of 99.85%. Among the educational districts, Pala secured the highest pass percentage of 99.97%. Wayanad is the revenue and educational district with the lowest pass percentage of 98.13%.

Malappuram district has the highest number of students who secured A plus in all subjects.

4,22,226 students wrote the SSLC examination this year in 2947 examination centres. 991 students wrote the exam privately. 

The number of valuation camps was increased to 72 from 57 due to the Covid protocol. 12,791 teachers participated in the camp.

Gulf region, which had 9 exam centres, secured a pass percentage of 97.03%. Lakshadweep, which had 9 centres, secured a pass percentage of 96.81%.

With 2076 students, PKMHSS School in Malappuram's Edarikod had the maximum number of students write the SSLC exam. With one student, St Thomas School in Niranam West, Pathanamthitta had the least number of students write the SSLC examination.

The Minister also congratulated all the students for their hard work and efforts amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Kerala Board of Public Examinations convened a meeting on Tuesday to approve the results. The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) conducts the SSLC examination.

The results will be available online from 3 pm. Candidates may access detailed results by entering the registration number in a link on the home page.

Request for revaluation of papers and photocopy may be submitted from July 17 to July 23.

Dates for the SAY examination will be announced later.

Other results announced

The results of THSLC, THSLC (Hearing Impaired), SSLC (Hearing Impaired), and AHSLC exams were also announced.

The class 10 and 12 board exams were conducted in April 2021 amid the raging pandemic.

As many as 4.12 lakh students appeared for the exam. The State had earlier canceled the SSLC IT practical examination.
