Plus-One admission starts from Aug 24, prospectus released

Thiruvananthapuram: The General Education Department of the Kerala Government has published the prospectus for Plus-One admissions.

Candidates may apply on the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in from August 24.

Even though the admission process is late by one month compared to last year, the time for application submission and trial allotment has been reduced.

The main allotment will be completed by September 29. The dates regarding the commencement of classes will be decided later.

Help desks will function in all high schools, higher secondary schools to assist in the admission process.

Admission committees will be in place in higher secondary schools.

The timetable for Plus-One model exams
Plus-One model exams are set to commence in Kerala soon after the Onam festivities even as the admissions of a fresh batch have commenced.

Students should down load the question papers at the designated time as per the time table. The papers have to be downloaded from the website: www.dhsekerala.gov.in. After the exams the students can interact with teachers online to remove any doubts.

The timetable
The Plus-One model exams will be held from August 31 to September 4.

Candidates can write the model exams at home under the supervision of their parents.
August 31: 9.30 am - Biology, Electronics, Political Science, Sanskrit Literature, Computer Application, English Literature.
1.30 pm - Part 2 languages, Computer Science.
September 1: 9.30 am - Chemistry, History, Islamic History, Business Studies, Communicative English.
1.30 pm: Maths, Part 3 languages, Sanskrit Literature, Psychology.
September 2: 9.30 am - Geography, Music, Social Work, Geology , Accountancy.
1.30 pm - Part 1 English
September 3:9.30 am - Home Science, Gandhian Studies, Philosophy, Journalism, Computer Science, Statistics.
2 pm: physics, economics.
September 4: Sociology, Anthropology, Electronic Systems.
