Seven teachers receive Manorama Horizon’s Guruvandanam awards

Manorama Horizon, the educational portal of Malayala Manorama has honored 3 teachers each from Kerala state syllabus and CBSE schools and 1 teacher from the special school category with the prestigious Guruvandanam awards.

Kerala syllabus: Swapna Mathew of St. Sebastian’s LP School, Koodaranji, Kozhikode (Primary), CV Anoop, SSOHS, Lakkidi, Palakkad (Secondary) and Joy John of St. Joseph’s HSS, Thiruvananthapuram (Higher Secondary).

CBSE: Mary Clemence of St. Kuriakose Public School, Kaduthuruthy, Kottayam (Primary), Suhaila of MP International School, Kasargod (Secondary) and Preethy Rajeev of Cochin Refinery School, Thiruvaniyoor, Ernakulam (Senior Secondary).

Special School: A Marykutty, CMI School for the Deaf, Enathu, Pathanamthitta (Primary).

The teachers have overcome the pandemic crises with the help of technology to impart knowledge to their students. The winners were chosen by Jiji Thomson, former chief secretary, Dr. Jancy James, former vice chancellor of MG University, University of Kerala and Central University and selection board member and Dr. Rajeev Ramachandran from thousands of applicants. The awards ceremony would be aired on 5 September at 7.30 pm on Manorama News channel.
