Private undergraduate students in a spot as MG varsity results are delayed

Kottayam: Even as the last date for applying for BEd courses under Mahatma Gandhi University ends on Thursday, the examination results of undergraduate students who have opted for private registration are yet to be declared.

The University had declared the results of the regular students earlier itself.

It had notified September 6 as the deadline for the BEd admission. As the degree results got delayed, this was extended to Thursday.

The University has also stated that the last date for BEd admission will not be extended again.

Thus, the private students who want to apply for the BEd course are now in a spot.

Supplementary exam results too delayed
The results of a few other exams conducted in July this year too are still awaited.

The results of the special supplementary exam for students, who had COVID-19 or were in quarantine during the exams, have also been delayed.

Moreover, the fourth-semester special supplementary exam for undergraduate students are yet to be declared.

The results of the fifth semester supplementary exam, which was conducted along with the sixth- semester regular exams, are also yet to be published.

The students are concerned over the delay in the declaration of the results as colleges have started admission for post-graduate courses.
