Higher Education Minister Dr R Bindu presents KEAM results.

Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the Kerala Government's engineering, architecture and pharmacy entrance exam, KEAM-2021, were released on Thursday.

The exam was conducted across the state for admission to medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses.

The results are available on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

How to check results:

* Navigate to https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in/ website

* Select KEAM 2021 - Candidate portal

* Enter application number, password and access code

* Enter submit to view the scorecard

The scorecard specifies the details like the category of the candidates, application number, marks obtained, qualifying marks.

Faiz Hashim of Vadakkencherry secured the first rank in engineering. Kottayam native Harishankar is placed second and the third rank goes to Kishor of Kollam.

This year, the KEAM rank list has been prepared using both Class 12 and entrance exam marks.

Though the scorecards and results of KEAM 2021, held on August 5, were released in September, the inclusion of CBSE improvement marks delayed the publication of the final rank list.

In all 51,031 candidates have qualified and 47,629 candidates have found a place in the rank list out of the 73,997 candidates who had appeared for the entrance.

While girls secured 22 spots in the first 100 ranks, boys secured 78 ranks.

In the engineering stream, a total of 73,977 students appeared in KEAM 2021, of whom 51,031 have qualified. The number of students included in the rank list is 47,629.

Of the first 5,000 students to feature in the Engineering rank list, 2,112 are from the Kerala state board, 2,602 are from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), 242 are from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and 44 are from other boards.

A total of 60,889 students had appeared for KEAM in the pharmacy stream, of whom 48,556 have been included in the rank list.

The total number of candidates included in the KEAM 2021 rank list for architecture is 2,816.

On Allotment

As per the schedule, the first allotment will be held on October 11.

The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has directed that the admission process must be closed before October 25.

Students are allowed to submit their options online via www.cee.kerala.gov.in till 4 pm on October 9.

Students who get allotment on October 11 will have to pay their fees between October 12 to October 16 till 3 pm.

The allotment of those who fail to pay the fees within the required time will be cancelled.
