Medical professionals wanted for Kuwait National Guard, apply to NORKA ROOTS

Thiruvananthapuram: Applications are invited from male candidates for recruitment to the posts of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in the Kuwait National Guard that comes under the defence ministry of the kingdom.

The recruitment would be handled via NORKA ROOTS, a government undertaking handling the affairs of Non-Resident Keralites.

Selected candidates would be first posted as Lieutenants, an entry-level position, in the Kuwait Army. (The Kuwait Military Forces consist of the Kuwait Air Force, the Kuwait Army, the Kuwait Navy and the Kuwait National Guard.)

Doctors are required as general practitioners as well as for the departments of internal medicine, general surgery, ENT, dermatology, radiology, respiratory medicine, allergy, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, nephrology and community medicine. Urologists (surgery), cardiologists, psychiatrists, diabetologists and ophthalmologists too are required.

Those appointed will get a monthly salary of 1,100 to 1,400 Kuwaiti Dinar.

Other vacancies
Other vacancies are for the posts of pharmacist, bio-medical engineer, physiotherapist, dietician and nurse.

Their salary is 500 KD and can go up to 800 KD.
