MBBS: Special stray vacancy round to be held to fill 323 seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)  will conduct a 'special stray vacancy round' to fill the 323 seats that remained vacant even after an earlier one was heldfor MBBS admission (2021-2022) from the NEET-UG rank list. 

No fresh registration is needed for this online round but pre-registered candidates need to do fresh choice filling.

All candidates, irrespective of the category,  also need to pay a security deposit of Rs 50,000. No exemptions.

Seats are vacant in the All-India Quota/ Central University/ central institutes/ AIIMS/ JIPMER. Fifteen seats are vacant at the 13 medical colleges in Kerala (Open - 7, OBC - 6, SC - 1, ST - 1).

Candidates, who had earlier registered for the UG counselling but were not allotted MBBS seats, can take part in this round.  Only those who have not secured seats in the all-India quota or state quota will be considered. 

Candidates, who got allotment during the mop-up/stray vacancy round held from April 1 to 11 but did not join college, need not apply. 

Deposits will not be refunded to those candidates, who do not join college despite seats being allotted.

Schedule
* Remitting security deposit: Till 3pm on Thursday
* Choice filling & locking - Wednesday and Thursday.
Locking from 3pm to 11.59pm on Thursday
* Allotment results: April 23
* Joining college: From April 24 till 5pm on April 28
