Free recruitment of nurses to Germany, interview in Nov

Thiruvananthapuram: Keralite nursing professionals who are interested in working in Germany can apply for the second stage of the Triple Win programme of the NORKA ROOTS from 16 August onwards.

The recruitment is to 300 vacancies. Those who have nursing degree or diploma and a work experience of not less than one year can apply.

Those who were nor recruited in in the first chance can apply again.

There is no age limit for applying. However, those who have more than three years of experience and those who are fluent in German will get preference. Nurses who are already working in a foreign country and have an active visa cannot apply. The recruitment would be totally free of cost.

The candidates would be selected directly by the German authorities in the interview sessions that have been scheduled at Thiruvananthapuram from 1 to 11 November. The selected candidates would be trained in German language too.

Those who clear the A2 and B1 level language tests in the first attempt would get 250 euros as bonus.

The appointment would be as assistant nurses. Meanwhile, they could work as registered nurses if they pass the B2 level in the German language test. In the beginning, the nurses will get 2300 euros as salary. It could go up to 2800 euros for registered nurses. Besides, there will be 20–35% hourly overtime allowance too.

The state-run overseas recruitment agency NORKA ROOTS and the Federal Employment Agency of the German Government have reached an agreement to recruit qualified nurses from Kerala. The German recruitment project named Triple Win is the first government-level migration project of the European giant.

Hundreds of new vacancies for nurses are expected in Germany in the coming years. Meanwhile, more than 8,500 nursing graduates qualify every year in Kerala.
