Thiruvananthapuram: The first allotment for admission to the plus one classes ends today in Kerala. 2,38,150 candidates out of 4,71,849 applicants got admission in the first allotment. Meanwhile, the second allotment would be published on 15 August and third one would come out on 22 August. The admission process in the main stage would be completed by August 24 and classes have been scheduled to begin on August 25.

This is the last day for those who got allotment in the lower options and took temporary admission, to cancel some of the higher options. The application for this should be submitted at the schools where they seek admission. Those who do not take temporary admission, despite getting the allotment, would not be considered for the upcoming allotments.

Meanwhile, the applicants who didn’t get admission in the first allotment would get a change in the next one. Those who haven’t applied yet, or those who have given wrong information in the application or forgot to hit the final confirmation can submit new applications for the supplementary allotment after the third allotment.
