Thiruvananthapuram: The final rank list and the first allotment for admission to polytechnic courses have been published. The candidates can check their allotment and final rank by clicking on the links ‘check your allotment’ and ‘check your rank’ and then entering application number, register number or date of birth in the web portal www.polyadmission.org. Those who got their first option should report to the allotted colleges with the original certificates and secure admission by paying the fees. The allotment of those who do not do that will be cancelled. Besides, they would be out of the remaining allotments.
Those who are satisfied with their current allotment, even if it is not their first choice, can secure admission by submitting the original documents and paying the fee at the colleges. Meanwhile, candidates who wish to upgrade to their preferred options by retaining the current option should reach the nearby government or aided polytechnic colleges to verify their certificates and to register. These candidates should strictly take admission at any of the subsequent allotments; otherwise, their allotment would be cancelled.
Rearrange higher option
Those who are interested in securing admission or registering should do that before 4 pm on 3 September. Meanwhile, those who got allotment can rearrange the options via online. However, the applicants who are not interested in the current allotment and those who are only considering their first options need not do anything. They will lose their allotment.
