As the results of the Kerala engineering, architecture and pharmacy entrance tests have been published, many candidates are worried about whether they would get admission to their preferred courses. Besides, they are confused about choosing the right institute or the perfect combination. However, it is difficult to predict such things, except in the cases of top rank holders.

The candidate could make a guess about their admission prospects if they know the last admitted rank in each allotment at all the colleges, streams and also in every category. But, last year’s ranks may not be repeated as the trends in career, the students’ preferences or the campus selectors’ attitude may change. The table shows the last rank which got admission in merit in 2021. Usually, those who get lower ranks than the last rank in the first rounds of allotment would get admission in the third allotment. Click on the KEAM – KEAM 2021- LAST RANK DETAILS link in the website https://cee-kerala.org to check the last ranks that got admission in each allotment. Besides, the details about the institutes in which they got admitted and their streams and category (merit, Ezhava, Muslim, Scheduled Caste, etc) too are available on the website.

Many students might not get their preferred institute when they look for their favourite stream and vice versa. The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations may soon ask the applicants to submit their options in the order of preference. Having knowledge about the institutes and the scope of the courses after four years could help the candidates submit the options wisely. Students had chosen mechanical production and metallurgical streams in the allotments in previous years even though the ranks are not given in the list.
