Plus one admission: First supplementary allotment is out

Thiruvananthapuram: The first supplementary allotment for admission to plus one courses has been published. The admission would be held on 12 and September. Those who got the allotment can secure admission from 10 am on 12 September until 5 pm on 13 September. Visit the general education department’s admission gateway www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in for the allotment details. The link ‘Click for Higher Secondary Admission’ would lead you to the higher secondary admission website. The details are available in the link ‘Supplementary Allot Results’ in the Candidate Login – SWS to view the list.

The candidates should reach the allotted school, with their parent or guardian, to secure admission by submitting the original certificates as per the notification dated 8 July. The candidate would get the printed copy of the allotment letter from the school at the time of admission. They should pay the fees and secure admission.

Meanwhile, the school wise vacancies/ combination transfer allotment would be published on 15 September. Students who got admitted in merit quota through the single window system can apply for transfer. Online applications for transfer to a different school in the same district, school transfer along with a combination change or transfer to another combination in the same school could be submitted by clicking on the link Apply for School/Combination Transfer’ in the candidate login. Meanwhile, the details about school/ combination transfer would be published on 15 September. The joint director of the general education department said that one more round of supplementary allotment would be held for those who didn’t get allotment even after applying for school/combination transfer.

72,808 applications
Those who didn’t get any seats in the first rounds of allotment and those who couldn’t apply were given a chance to apply for the supplementary allotment until 5 pm on 3 September. In the first round of supplementary allotment 73,350 applications were received against 54,303 vacant seats. Among them 72,808 applications were considered. Meanwhile, 542 applications were rejected as options weren’t submitted.

Vocational higher secondary
The supplementary allotment for the vocational higher secondary courses via the single window system has been published. The list is available in Higher Secondary (Vocational) Admission page in the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in. The candidates could view the allotment details and download the allotment slip by entering the application number and date of birth in the First Suppl. Allotment Results. Candidates who got the allotment can secure admission in the schools until 4 pm on 14 September. This will be permanent admission as temporary admission won’t be allowed at this stage. The deputy director of general education said that those who do not seek permanent admission would be out of the admission process.
