Thomas Biju from Thiruvananthapuram bags All India third rank in JEE – Advanced

New Delhi: Making Kerala proud, Thiruvananthapuram native Thomas Biju Cheeramvelil bagged the third rank in the Joint Entrance Exam – Advanced for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology. RK Shishir who hails from Bengaluru scored the first rank while P Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy got the second rank. Shishir came on top by scoring 314 marks out of 360. Meanwhile, Thanishka Kabra came first among the women candidates with 277 marks.

Thomas Biju is the son of Thiruvananthapuram Kesadasapuram natives Biju C Thomas who is a scientist at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre and Reeni Rajan, an assistant professor of English at the Government Women’s College. Vishwanath Vinod who got the 252nd rank came second in the state.

Vishwanath is the son of Idukki Anakkara natives Vinod Kumar and Chandini. Meanwhile, Dev Elvis, son of Thrissur Pudukkad natives Elvis and Sangeetha came third in Kerala with 318th rank.
