Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test results out; 26.51 pass percentage

Thiruvananthapuram: Results of the K-TET (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) have been announced. The pass percentage is 26.51, with 33,138 of the 1,24,996 candidates who appeared clearing the test.

The test was conducted in December 2022. In the previous year’s test, the pass percentage was 27.12.

Category-wise results

• In Category 1 for LP (lower primary) school teachers, 36,061 candidates appeared and 7,406 cleared the test – a pass of 20.54 per cent.

• In the LP-UP (upper primary) category, 33,732 candidates appeared of whom 11,956 passed. The pass percentage is 35.44 per cent.

• In Category 3 (UP – high school teachers), 38,439 candidates appeared and 10,975 passed the test. The pass percentage is 28.55 per cent.

• In the test for teachers in special subjects (Category 4), 2,801 of the 16,764 candidates who appeared cleared the test – a pass percentage of 16.71 per cent.

A total of 277 candidates cleared the test by scoring more than 80 per cent marks in all subjects.

Document verification

Pareeksha Bhavan (Office of the Commissioner of Government Examinations), which conducts K-TET, said that successful candidates should reach the District Educational Office under which their exam centre is located for scrutiny and verification of certificates and other documents. The schedule for this process will be announced soon, said authorities.
