PG Diploma in Rural Development: Apply at NIRDPR by May 15

The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), a self-governing premier national institute of excellence in rural development engaged in activities including training, research, and consultancy, offers distance-mode Management programmes.

Interested candidates can submit applications online for the four PG Diploma courses starting in June till May 15. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university can apply for the programmes, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The application fee is Rs 500 for General Category students and Rs 300 for Scheduled Caste/Tribe/ Physically Handicapped candidates.

PG Diploma programmes

• Sustainable Rural Development (18-month duration), course fee Rs 15,000; Rs 13,500 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

• Tribal Development (18-month duration), course fee Rs 15,000; Rs 13,500 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

• Geo-spatial Technology Applications in Rural Development (18 months), course fee Rs 18,000; Rs 15,000 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

• Panchayati Raj Governance & Rural Development Management (12 months), course fee Rs 12,000; Rs 9,000 for SC/ST/PH candidates.
