Thiruvananthapuram: Teachers can now share information on drug abuse among students through the 'Nervazhi' project. The project has been rolled out by the excise department to ensure the teachers' participation in the anti-drug activities and to help the students overcome addiction.

The excise commissionerate has set up a number, 96561 78000, for passing on the details of children using drugs.

Under the 'Nervazhi' initiative, an official has also been exclusively deployed to collect information from the teachers through a phone call or via WhatsApp.
