SSLC SAY exams begins today; over 1,000 applicants

Thiruvananthapuram: The Save A Year examination of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate course begins today. The results would be published by the end of this month.

The exams have been scheduled until June 14.

Around 1,101 candidates who have to clear up to three subjects in the last SSLC examination have registered for the exam. Besides, around 10 students who couldn’t attend the exams earlier due to health-related issues and two students at the Kannur Sports School who missed the exams in March as they gone to attend various sporting events too would be writing the SAY exams, with the government’s special permission.

There is one exam centre in Gulf while exams are conducted in four centres in Lakshadweep.

Those who qualify this exam can apply for the higher secondary Plus-One courses in the supplementary allotment stage.
