Engineering admission: Option registration likely from July 15

Thiruvananthapuram: The option registration for admission to the engineering courses for this academic year could begin on July 15.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala, could invite options only after there is clarity regarding the contract details between the self-financing college managements and the government and also about the courses and the colleges that are approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

Medical admission
The medical admission is expected to begin after July 14. The date for admission to the medical courses would be decided by the central government.

Updation, correction of certificates
Those who have applied to engineering, medical, architecture, pharmacy and other medical-related courses can correct the mistakes in their certificates and upload the documents regarding reservation and other benefits on the CEE website until July 13. Website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Enter NEET–UG score
Those who have submitted applications to the CEE but couldn’t choose medical/medical-related courses could add them or enter their NEET–UG score until 4 pm on July 13. Meanwhile, the candidates who have submitted online applications for one of engineering, architecture or pharmacy courses can add on medical/ medical-related courses, if required.

Medical examination for PWD category
Persons With Disabilities (PWD) are required to undergo examinations by the medical board. The board would convene at 10.30 am on July 11 in Thiruvananthapuram. Those who couldn’t apply to be included in the persons with disabilities category could email their details to ceekinfo.cee@kerala.gov.in in order take part in the medical examination.
