The registration and choice-filling of the first round of national-level online counselling for admission to Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) courses for the 2023-24 batch will start on September 1 and conclude on September 4.

Candidates who have earned eligibility in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate), 2023, should register on the website https://aacc.gov.in/ug-counselling before filling their choices.

AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) is conducting the counselling for all-India quota seats in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy courses in government, government-aided, Central universities, national institutes and deemed universities. However, counselling in private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy institutes will be carried out by the counselling authorities in the respective states.

The four rounds of counselling are One, Two, Three and Stray Vacancy.

Registrations should be done on the allotted dates for Rounds 1, 2 and 3. However, there will be very few seats after Round 2.

Allotment not enough for admission

Admission is not confirmed even when they are allotted a seat. To secure admission, they also have to meet the required eligibility norms. Candidates also should note the special conditions for admission at various institutions and the fees they charge.

At the time of registration, candidates would have to submit the registration fee and refundable security deposit.

Breakup of seats

Fifteen percent all-India quota seats in various colleges in states and 100-percent seats in Central universities and national institutes

AACCC will conduct three rounds and the stray vacancy round. Seats vacant after the stray round will not be transferred to states.

Hundred percent seats in deemed universities

The first three rounds will be conducted by AACCC. The stray vacancy round would be carried out by the respective deemed universities from the list of eligible students given by AACCC. Reservation norms will not be applied during admission to deemed universities.
