A holiday has been declared for all educational institutions in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday in view of heavy rain in the district.
Geromic George, district collector of Thiruvananthapuram, said in a release that the holiday will apply to professional colleges and Kendriya Vidyalaya as well.
The India Meteorological Department had issued an orange alert (heavy rain) for Thiruvananthapuram district on Tuesday.
