Kerala to feature in Centre’s Higher Education survey

Thiruvananthapuram: The All India Higher Education Survey being conducted by the Union Education Ministry will be held in the state as well. The survey aims to make a comprehensive collection of information in the higher education sector.

Nodal officers in colleges and universities have been given training as a prelude to the exercise. Officials from the Union Government, who visited the state as part of the initiative, conducted the classes for the nodal officers.

The Higher Education Council is in charge of the survey in the state. The Kerala State Higher Education Council Vice-Chairman Dr Rajan Gurukkal, Higher Education Principal Secretary Ishita Roy, Kerala University Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohan Kunnummel, and Higher Education Council Member Secretary Dr Rajan Varghese spoke on the occasion.
