Details in this regard will be published on the website.

Test pattern
BITSAT will be conducted in two sessions and the best score will be considered for ranking. The first session is from May 21 to 26 and the second is from June 22 to 26. Candidates can currently apply for both sessions or only the first. There will be two time slots on each day of the test – 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

The 180-minute test will have 130 questions. Physics (30), chemistry (30), English (10), logic (20) and maths/biology for BPharm (40) is the breakup of questions.

How to apply
Online applications could be submitted for either both the sessions or only the first on the website www.bitsadmission.com till 5 pm on April 11.

Candidates can also apply for the second session between May 22 and 5 pm on June 10.

After applying, candidates have to take a print and keep it. They need not send the print to BITS by post.

Candidates should appear at the allotted test centre at the specified time. There would be 63 test centres apart from the BITS campuses. Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Coimbatore, Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Dubai are among the centres.

Applicants can choose the date and the test slots. However, all candidates will not be given the same question paper. Another feature of BITSAT is that candidates can take a print of the score report from the computer immediately after the test.

Test fees
The fee for attempting both sessions of BISAT-2024 is Rs 5400 for male candidates and Rs 4400 for female applicants. The fee for one session is Rs 3400 and Rs 2900 respectively.
