Thiruvananthapuram: The second-term examinations for schools following the Kerala syllabus will be conducted from December 12 to 20, as announced by V. Sivankutty, the State Education Minister. The detailed timetable will be released soon.

Schools will close for Christmas holidays from December 21 to 29.

In Kerala, the school academic year is divided into three terms. The first-term exams are typically held in August-September, followed by a 10-day Onam vacation. After the second term exams, schools break for Christmas holidays, and the final exams are scheduled for March, after which a two-month summer vacation begins.
