Kozhikode: Doctors on Prep Academy (DOPA), a medical entrance coaching institution run by a group of doctors of Kozhikode Medical College, has partnered with Dr Bhatia, one of the leading NEET-PG education and training institutes.

A press statement said that with the collaboration, DOPA aims to expand its reach in the entrance training domain and offer quality training in all regional languages across India in the coming years.

As part of the collaboration, DOPA’s new logo was unveiled by Dr Nachiket Bhatia, CEO of Dr Bhatia Institute, at a ceremony held in Kozhikode. DOPA founders, including Dr Niyas Paloth, Dr Mohammed Asif, Dr Ashik Zainuddin, Dr Jamshid Ahmed, and Muneer Marakkar, attended the event.

The DOPA Board of Directors expressed pride in partnering with Dr Bhatia, stating that this partnership will further strengthen their team and enhance their capabilities.

According to the institute, over 1,000 students have secured medical admissions in various parts of the country through DOPA’s training programmes. More than 4,000 students are undergoing entrance coaching this year, and admissions for the next academic year have already begun.

DOPA was founded four years ago by four doctors who graduated from Kozhikode Medical College and an engineer during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The academy offers classes in both online and offline modes.

The partnership comes close on the heels of Dr Bhatia’s Rs 300-crore merger with a Japanese company.
