New Delhi: Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Class 10 and 12 results of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), announced on Wednesday.

In the Class 10 exams, girls recorded a pass percentage of 99.45, slightly higher than the 98.64 per cent recorded by boys. The trend continued in the Class 12 results, where girls once again posted a 99.45 per cent pass rate, compared to 98.64 per cent for boys.

This year, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 exam was held across 67 subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and one classical language.

The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 exam was conducted in 47 subjects, comprising 12 Indian languages, four foreign languages, and two classical languages.

"Candidates and stakeholders can check their results on the CISCE website or through the board’s CAREERS portal. Results are also available via DigiLocker," said CISCE Chief Executive Joseph Emmanuel. Improvement exams for both ICSE and ISC will be held in July.

ISC Class 12 Results 2025: How and where to check
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the ISC Class 12 results for 2025. Students can access their results through multiple official platforms.

1. Official CISCE websites
Visit cisce.org or results.cisce.org. On the homepage, click on the ISC 2025 result link. Enter your Unique ID, Index Number, and the captcha code. Click "Submit" to view and download your mark sheet.

2. SMS
To receive your result via SMS, type ISC followed by your Unique ID and send it to 09248082883.

3. DigiLocker
Digitally signed mark sheets and pass certificates are also available on DigiLocker. Students must log in using Aadhaar-linked credentials to access their documents.

How to check ISC 2025 results on official website:

  • Go to results.cisce.org
  • Choose "ISC" from the course options
  • Enter your Unique ID and Index Number
  • Complete the captcha and click "Submit"
  • Your result will appear on the screen
  • Download and print a copy for future use

After the results: What next?

Recheck / Re-evaluation:
Students who wish to request a re-evaluation can apply online via the CISCE portal. The application window is open until May 4, 2025, and a small fee applies per subject.

Compartment Exams:
Students who did not clear one or two subjects will be eligible to appear for the compartment exams, tentatively scheduled for July 2025.

Further Studies:
The digital mark sheets and pass certificates issued by CISCE are recognised by all Indian colleges and universities for undergraduate admissions. Schools will also distribute the original documents once they are made available.
