Kottayam: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam on Monday announced the launch of two new certificate programmes in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Cyber Security & Digital Forensics.

The programmes are part of the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The initiative is aimed at enhancing the expertise of the faculty members across AICTE-approved institutions in India.

Faculty with a minimum of five years’ teaching experience in core engineering disciplines can apply for the programmes, which will be conducted in a hybrid mode over a period of six months. Each programme carries 18 credits and concludes with a final project with the potential for publication and research collaboration.

The programmes offer joint certification by IIIT Kottayam and AICTE and provide hands-on training. They comprehensively cover topics ranging from foundational concepts to advanced applications. The last date for application submission is 15 May 2025.
