Plus One classes for 2025-26 academic year will begin on June 18, Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty said here on Thursday. The trial allotment of 4,62,768 applications received online for Plus One admission was recently published. The Minister said that opportunities have been given for corrections and rearranging options.

Allotment is carried out for 3,16,000 seats on merit quota in government, aided schools. The state has a total of 4,42,012 seats under community quota, management quota and unaided quota. The first allotment will be published on June 2 at 5 pm. The admission process will be held from June 3, 10 am to June 5, 5 pm. The minister said that the allocation for a model residential school and sports quota will also be published.
The second allotment will be published on June 10 and the third one on June 16.
