Kasaragod: The Central University of Kerala (CUK) has opened registration for its newly launched four-year undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2025–26.
Candidates who appeared for the CUET-UG (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply. Registrations are open on the university’s official website, www.cukerala.ac.in, and will close on July 31. A registration fee of Rs 500 is applicable for candidates from General, OBC, and EWS categories, with an additional Rs 100 for each extra programme selected.
CUK's four-year Honours programmes include BSc (Hons.) in Biology, BCom (Hons) in Financial Analytics, and BCA (Hons), offered at its Periya campus, each with an intake of 60 students. Students can exit after the first, second, or third year with a certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree, respectively. Those who complete all four years with the research component will receive an Honours degree with research, making them eligible for direct admission to PhD programmes. Students who opt out of the research track can pursue a one-year fast-tracked master’s degree.
The NAAC 'A' grade university has 26 departments offering post-graduate and doctoral studies.
