Physiotherapy post-graduation (MPT) in Kerala: Apply by August 30; no entrance exam

Online applications for admission to MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) courses in Kerala for 2025–26 will be accepted until August 30. Selection will be conducted by the LBS Centre, a government institution. Application websites: https://www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in and https://lbscentre.in
Specialisations
Six specialisations are available in the state:
- Cardiorespiratory
- Musculoskeletal & Sports Neurology
- Neurology
- Paediatrics
- Community Health & Geriatrics
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Eligibility
Applicants must have an aggregate of at least 50% across all BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) examinations. The cut-off for candidates in the Backwards and Scheduled categories is 45%. They must also have permanent registration with the state council, and the BPT degree must be from a full-time, regular programme.
Course details
Although the MPT is a two-year course, students are allowed up to four years to complete the programme. Details of participating institutions and available seats will be announced later.
Selection
Selection will be based on BPT marks. No entrance exam will be conducted. College managements will conduct selection for management seats.
Reservation
Reservation for various categories in government seats is:
- Merit: 63%
- Backwards: 27%
- Scheduled: 10%
No seats are reserved for candidates under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
Application fee
The application fee is ₹1,200. For Scheduled-category applicants, it is ₹600.
