Kochi: Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi has launched a newly reimagined website that sets a new benchmark in higher education digital presence. More than just an information portal, the site is designed to reflect the university’s identity as both a “University of the Future” and a “People’s University,” showcasing its academic strengths, community values, and forward-thinking vision.

Unlike traditional university websites, Jain University Kochi’s new platform takes an innovative and immersive approach. It not only displays academic programs and campus details but also introduces new elements such as tailored content for employers and a strong focus on career support services for students. The website is built on a next-generation technology stack that ensures high performance, interactivity, and scalability. The frontend is powered by Next.js, styled using Tailwind CSS, and animated with Framer Motion to create a seamless and dynamic user experience. The backend is managed by Strapi, a secure and flexible headless CMS based on Node.js. AI-generated visual enhancements using Adobe Firefly further elevate the design. Hosting on Google Cloud guarantees reliability and speed, offering users a truly future-ready digital platform.

This landmark project was developed by Web & Crafts (WAC), a Kerala-based global IT solutions company renowned for its design and user experience expertise. The company’s design philosophy of combining aesthetics with functionality is reflected in every aspect of the new site, making it stand out globally in the higher education space.

The official launch of the website took place at WAC Beyond, Kerala’s first flagship innovation and technology summit, held at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi. The event was attended by Shri P Rajeev, Minister for Industries, Law & Coir, Government of Kerala, and Shri Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament, Ernakulam. Their presence highlighted the importance of this step in transforming digital infrastructure within the education sector.
