Of late actress Nayanthara has stunned us with her performances in the horror films like 'Maya' and 'Dora'. Now it seems South Indian diva Trisha is also treading the same path taking up heroine-centric movies with horror genre. After almost two years of break in Tamil, Trisha is back with 'Mohini', a horror flick which has been in the making for quite some time. Starring Trisha in dual roles, 'Mohini' hits the screens on July 27.

At a press meet, Trisha talked about the movie and what made her choose it. “'Mohini' is not just an entertaining horror thriller but has all elements of a true commercial film. It also speaks against child abuse and about safety of women. It is probably the first horror film shot extensively in London. The film has not compromised with quality in any manner," she said.

Revealing about her twin roles in the movie she added, “Vaishnavi and Mohini are the two characters and the second half is mostly action oriented. It was in fact a challenge to do stunt scenes without any body doubles.”

'Nayaki' and 'Aranmanai 2' also saw Trisha doing horror genres.
