Some of the famous movie characters by Kalabhavan Mani also appear in the trailer. His character as a blind singer in 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum pinne Njanum' is one among them.

Ace director Vinayan's much-awaited flick Chalakkudikkaran Changathi's official trailer has hit YouTube. The movie, which is inspired from the real life of Kalabhavan Mani portrays the superstar's humble beginning as a coconut plucker and auto-rickshaw driver; traverses through his successful career in mimicry and cinema and ends with his death, which is looked at with suspicion by many.

Rajamani, who plays the protagonist in the movie, is a carbon-copy of Kalabhavan Mani, with his talent in mimicry, singing and the sheer resemblance to Mani's figure. Kalabhavan Mani's popular folk songs have been reintroduced in this movie with slight rework. Rajamani's costumes and make-up are inspired from the typical styles of Klabhavan Mani, on and off silver-screen. His heavy golden bracelet, his signature laughter, the vermilion he wears on his forehead and his Chalakudy accent of Malayalam are perfectly remade using Rajamani.

Some of the famous movie characters by Kalabhavan Mani also appear in the trailer. His character as a blind singer in 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum pinne Njanum' is one among them. Rajamani's priceless similarity with Kalabhavan Mani makes the audience wonder whether their beloved actor is still alive and active on screen.

Movie captures a beatiful picturesque of Chalakudy, a rural township in Thrissur district and the local life of people there. The trailer has also clues regarding the suspicions in Mani's death, the regrets, sorrows and pains the actor had in his life and the reasons behind his hapless fall as a successful actor.
