Sai Pallavi to play opposite Rana in period drama

Sai Pallavi is known for her uncompromising attitude in the movie industry and Rana for his penchant for experimental roles. The latest buzz is that the duo will be paired in lead roles in ‘Naadi Needi Oke Kadha’ fame Venu Udugula’s upcoming movie 'Virata Parvam 1992'.

It was earlier rumoured that young hero Nani would play the lead, but later names of other stars including Nitin and Sharwanand also popped up. However, according to reliable sources, Rana has been finalised for the slot.

Though no official announcement has been done so far, our sources in the know confirmed that Pallavi will play opposite Rana in the period drama. An official announcement is expected soon from the makers of the film.

Rana has already become a bankable name in Tollywood. He has also acted in Tamil and Hindi films. His acting prowess was proved beyond doubt with his roles in earlier films. He has never confined to hero’s roles but acted as villain and handled character roles also.

Pallavi is perhaps one of the most adorable and talented actresses in south India today. Being choosy and never eager to increase the number of movies, she had said no to many roles in big-budget movies just because she did not like the script.

However, Pallavi has never had dearth of offers from Tollywood despite being not too media savvy and always keeping a low profile.
