After the stupendous sucess of ‘Mahanati’, Keerthy Suresh has become a household name in Telangana and Andhra.
Keerthy Suresh enacted the role of legendary yesteryear actress Savitri in Mahanati and won accolades from critics and movie buffs alike.
After Mahanati, Keerthy was chosen to act with superstars Vikram, Vijay and Vishal. She also rejected several offers including the NTR biopic starring Balakrishna, much to the chagrin of many heroes and producers.
When the producers approached Keerthy for Savithri’s role in the biopic, she was reluctant at first. The reason the actress cited was she was tired after working for long hours without break and needed rest.
Now, the talk of the town is that Keerthy has been chosen by none other than SS Rajamouli for a mega-budget multi-starrer.
NTR Junior and Ram Charan Teja will don the lead roles in the movie.
Shooting of Rajamouli’s untitled film with the working title RRR (Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Rama Rao) is set to begin on November 29.
Keerthy is likely to join the unit from the second schedule of the shooting, sources said.
Produced by DVV Dhanayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments, the film is slated for a 2020 Sankranthi release.
