While South Indian diva Keerthy Suresh is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn, the actor is in turn gearing up for his South debut. Not just him but Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt to will be seen coming down for a South movie.
The duo will be seen in pivotal roles in director SS Rajamouli's upcoming flick RRR, which has Jr NTR and Ram Charan playing the lead roles. The director, along with producer DVV Danayya and the lead cast confirmed the news in a press meet on Thursday.
Rajamouli also revealed that Alia Bhatt will be paired opposite Ram Charan. Alia, then took to Twitter to share her excitement in being a part of RRR. She wrote, "Today I feel truly truly grateful.. Cannot wait to begin this beautiful journey with this stellar cast and massive team.. thank you @ssrajamouli sir for giving me this opportunity to be directed by you. (sic)"
RRR, set in the pre-Independence era, revolves around two warriors Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan essays the younger version of Alluri Seetharamaraja, Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem. Foreign actress Daisy Edgar Jones is paired opposite Jr NTR.
RRR will be released in multiple languages and will hit the screens on July 30, 2020.
