The trailer of lady superstar Nayanthara's next ' Airra' has been released. This is the directorial venture of Sarjun K M after his much acclaimed short films 'Ma' and 'Lakshmi'. Sarjun made his debut in Tamil cinema with the feature film Echcharikkai.
In the horror flick Nayanthara can be seen adorning two different get ups: one a native village girl and another, a modern young girl. The story revolves around the bold Youtuber Nayanthara who ventures out to make a fake paranormal video to increase her popularity on the platform.
The trailer seems to narrate a past story in flash back where we get to see the village avatar of Nayanthara as 'Bhavani'.
Apart from Nayanthara, the film also features Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Jayaprakash, Meera Krishnan, Master Ashwanth and Kulapulli Leela. The music department is handled by KS Sundaramurthy, the cinematography is by Sudarshan Srinivasan and the editing by Karthik Jogesh. Priyanka Ravindran has penned the screenplay for the same.
Two video songs from the movie ‘Jinthako’ and ‘Megathoodam’ - were also released ahead of the trailer release.
The movie is slated to release on March 28.
