RJ Mathukutty is all set to make his directorial debut in the Malayalam film industry. Dulquer Salmaan shared the big news with the title launch of the film which stars Asif Ali in the lead.
Titled Kunjeldho, the movie is also written by Mathukutty while the creative direction will be helmed by director-actor Vineeth Sreenivasan.
The music department will be handled by Shaan Rahman and cinematography by Swaroop Philip. Kunjeldho will be bankrolled Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna under the banner Littlebig Films.
Earlier, reports were rife that Mathukutty was in talks with Dulquer Salmaan for a film but it came as a surprise with Asif Ali on board.
Mathukutty, an RJ by profession entered the TV industry with shows like Dhe Chef and Udan Panam. Mathukutty has also acted in small roles in films like Ithihasa and Campus Diary. He has also written dialogues for a movie called You Too, Brutus in 2015.
