Director and cinematographer Santhosh Sivan is surprised Rajinikanth fans by sharing a cute picture from the sets of his upcoming movie Darbar.
With a delightful smile, Rajini was seen holding his grandson while watching the monitor.
Santhosh shared it on his social media page and wrote, "Epitome of innocence..withgrand child watching the monitor.. timeless i just managed to capture it during Darbar shoot!"
It's after about 26 years that Santhosh Sivan is teaming up with Rajinikanth for Darbar. Santhosh Sivan has worked with Rajinikanth in the 1992 film Thalapathi.
Reportedly, Darbar team has finished a schedule and has taken a break from shooting. The film directed by AR Murugados is all set to release on Pongal 2020.
Meanwhile, Santhosh Sivan is also gearing up for his directorial project 'Jack and Jill' which stars Manju Warrier, Kalidas Jayaram and Soubin Shahir in the lead.
This upcoming movie marks the comeback of the ace cinematographer as a director in Mollywood after 2011 period drama Urumi that featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Genelia in lead roles.
