Amala Paul bares it all in 'Aadai' teaser, Twitter calls it 'naked honesty'

When the first-look poster of 'Aadai' (The Dress) was released featuring bruised Amala covered in paper holding a weapon, it had caused an intrigue. And now, a teaser of the flick has been released and she has shocked everyone with her bold avatar.

Directed by Rathna Kumar, the video opens with the famous quote of Jean Paul Sartre, which reads, "Freedom is about what you do with what's been done to you."

It then begins with a mother's conversation with a police officer talking about her missing daughter. When the cop asks her as to why she felt it to be a missing case, she replies that her daughter was drunk the last time she spoke to her. The teaser video then cuts to the cops' search operation at a spot which seems to be like a corporate office and we see Amala Paul waking up only to find herself completely naked.

The teaser has already raised expectations from movie buffs and celebs. Karan Johar, who released the video mentioned that, 'Aadai is a Tamil film that breaks the shackles of the status quo starring the bold, beautiful & badass Amala Paul.'

Director Ram Gopal Verma too applauded the team's effort and said, 'The naked honesty of Amala Paul is heart touching and the integrity of director Rathna is explosive.'

Produced by Viji Subramaniyan, Aadai has been issued an 'A' certificate by the censor board members. The film also has Vivek Prasanna in a crucial role.
