Rashmika Mandanna is celebrating her 27th birthday today. Dubbed the 'national crush,' Rashmika has been a rising star in the South Indian film industry since her debut in 2016.

She was born on April 5, 1996, in Karnataka's Virajpet, and completed her schooling at Coorg Public School in Karnataka. She pursued a pre-university course at the Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts before earning a degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from M S Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Bangalore.

Rashmika began her film career with the 2016 Kannada movie 'Kirik Party,' which was a commercial success. She rose to fame with the song 'Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale' from 'Geetha Govindam,' and her sari-adjusting scene from the song created a huge buzz among youngsters. Her chemistry with Vijay Deverakonda was widely appreciated by the audience.

After the success of Geetha Govindam, Rashmika went on to star in several other movies like 'Dear Comrade,' 'Sarileru Neekevvaru,' and 'Bheeshma,' among others, which further cemented her position as a leading actress in the South film industry.

The year 2021 was truly memorable for Rashmika, as she featured in the superhit movie 'Pushpa', opposite Allu Arjun. Her song 'Saami Saami' became an instant hit across the country. Pushpa's success not only increased Allu Arjun's image but also made Rashmika a household name.

Rashmika's strength lies in her effortless portrayal of a character, as exemplified by her role in the movie 'Mission Majnu.' She underwent rigorous training for almost a month to portray the character of a visually impaired woman in it.

As she celebrates her birthday, Rashmika's fans and well-wishers eagerly await her upcoming projects.
