Kalyani Priyadarshan’s birthday post for Pranav Mohanlal is making waves online. She shared a nostalgic childhood photo featuring herself and Pranav, with Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff warmly hugging Pranav. Alongside the picture, Kalyani wrote, “Happy birthday to my forever friend.”

What truly caught fans off guard, though, was Kalyani’s completely shaved head in the photo. Many were unsure if it was really her. Addressing the curiosity head-on, Kalyani shared the same picture in her Instagram story and wrote, “To those asking who the bald kid in the last post was — yes, it was me.”

Kalyani and Pranav have been close friends since childhood. Their fathers, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, share a decades-long friendship, and the two grew up together as playmates. Over the years, their close bond has often sparked rumours about a possible relationship, but both Kalyani and Pranav have chosen not to comment on the speculation.
Both eventually ventured into cinema and starred opposite each other in the 2022 romantic drama 'Hridayam'.
