Director Abishan Jeevinth’s 'Tourist Family' has quietly delivered an impressive box office run. According to data from Sacnilk, the film has collected about ₹90 crore worldwide on a reported budget of just ₹7 crore. This puts its profit margin at over 1,200 per cent, making it the most profitable Indian film of 2025 so far.

The film stars Sasikumar and Simran in lead roles, along with Kamalesh Jagan and Mithun Jai Shankar. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, M. S. Bhaskar, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi and Bagavathi Perumal.

'Tourist Family' follows a Sri Lankan immigrant family as they try to build a life in Tamil Nadu. The film explores themes of connection, resilience and belonging, which have resonated with audiences and contributed to its strong word of mouth.
