I’ve lost all my hair, but Nagarjuna looks younger than ever: Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth has expressed high praise for his 'Coolie' co-star Nagarjuna, commenting on how youthful the 65-year-old Telugu actor looks. In a recent promo for the film, the 74-year-old Tamil superstar even joked that while he has lost all his hair, Nagarjuna seems to have reversed time.

He recalled working with Nagarjuna more than three decades ago in the 1991 film 'Shanti Kranthi' and noted that the actor looks even younger now than he did back then. Rajinikanth added that he had asked Nagarjuna for the secret to his fitness, and Nagarjuna credited it simply to exercise and diet.

Talking about Nagarjuna’s role in 'Coolie', Rajinikanth said one of the film’s biggest highlights is seeing the actor play Simon, the antagonist. When he first heard about the role, Rajinikanth was curious who would take it on. He said he was surprised to learn that Nagarjuna had agreed to it after six narrations. According to him, Nagarjuna is not someone who chooses roles for money — he doesn’t need to — and has mostly played lead roles throughout his career.
