The teaser of 'Mirage', directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali, is out now. The one-minute-twenty-second glimpse sets the tone for an intense suspense thriller, building a tense atmosphere where the lead pair appears caught in a troubling situation.
'Mirage' also marks a reunion for Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali after 'Kishkindha Kaandam'. Earlier this year, Asif’s first release of 2025, 'Rekhachithram', had already emerged as a box-office hit. The upcoming film also features Hakim Shajahan, Hannah Reji Koshy and Sampath in key roles.

The screenplay of 'Mirage' has been co-written by Jeethu Joseph and Srinivas Abrol, based on a story by Aparna R Tarakad. Satheesh Kurup handles cinematography, V.S. Vinayak takes charge of editing, and Vishnu Shyam composes the music. Together, they form a technical team well-known to Malayalam cinema audiences for their seamless collaborations.

For Jeethu Joseph, 'Mirage' comes at a particularly busy phase in his career.
