The trailer of ‘Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra’, the seventh production under Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films banner, has been released. It was launched at a grand pre-release event. The film will hit theatres worldwide on August 28 as an Onam release.
Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen play the lead roles in the big-budget fantasy, which is written and directed by Dominic Arun. ‘Chandra’ marks the first film in a superhero cinematic universe titled ‘Lokah’. The film, which recently completed censor formalities, has received a U/A certificate.

The trailer hints at an imaginative fantasy world unlike anything Malayalam audiences have seen before, blending action, thrills, emotions, and fun. Striking visuals and a powerful score further heighten the excitement. Kalyani Priyadarshan appears as the superhero character “Chandra,” while Naslen plays “Sunny.”

Earlier, the first-look poster, teaser, and promotional song ‘Thani Loka Murakkari’ had already generated strong buzz among viewers. While Wayfarer Films is releasing the movie on a large scale in Kerala, major distributors are handling its rollout across India. AGS Cinemas will release it in Tamil Nadu, Lighter Buddha Films in Karnataka, Sithara Entertainments in Telugu, and Pen Marudhar in North India.
