Actor Omana Ouseph has opened up about the care and support she received from AMMA, the collective of Malayalam film actors. She revealed that she had to undergo two complex surgeries back-to-back and AMMA stood by her, providing both mental and financial support. Alongside president Shwetha Menon, other members, including Dr Rony, Asha Aravind, Lakshmipriya, Kukku Parameswaran, Sarayu, and Baburaj extended their helping hands during her recovery.
In a post shared on her Facebook page, Omana wrote that only those who have experienced it can truly understand how AMMA takes care of its members. Her Facebook post reads.. "Onam has arrived. Only those who have experienced it can truly understand how deeply our AMMA organisation cares for its children. That is why this Onam is especially meaningful for me. I have undergone two major surgeries, and through it all, my organisation stood by my side with unwavering care.

I wish to express my gratitude to our beloved President, Shri Shwetha Menon, and all the members of the leadership team who supported me during those major and complex surgeries, offering financial assistance and every possible care I needed. I also thank everyone who called to check on me with love and concern. And special thanks to Dr Rony, Asha Aravind, Lakshmipriya, Kukku Parameswaran, and Sarayu, who personally visited me.
My sincere gratitude also goes to dear Baburaj, who, despite Dr Murukan Babu’s busy schedule, arranged for me to meet him the very next day after I conveyed my demand. To all of you, I extend my deepest thanks and love. Like a mother tends to every need of her children, AMMA cares for us with the same love. The new leadership has been strong, attentive and proactive in upholding this spirit.

For me, nothing brings greater confidence than knowing that my AMMA Association stands firmly by my side, more than anyone else. Words cannot truly capture the strength this gives me. I believe that being a daughter of such a mother is the greatest blessing and fortune of my life. My Onam wishes to all."
