Dulquer Salmaan has announced that a portion of the profits from ‘Lokah’ will be shared with the film’s crew. Speaking at the movie’s success meet in Chennai, the actor said he had never expected such an overwhelming response and expressed his happiness over the audience’s love for the film.

He explained that ‘Lokah’ was originally planned as a five-part series. While he is unsure whether it will expand further, he believes the story has endless possibilities. Dulquer added that once the profits come in, he will share them with his team, as they truly deserve it.

The actor admitted that no one anticipated the film would receive such massive acceptance. Although he has acted in several movies, he feels the love and appreciation for ‘Lokah’ has surpassed all his previous works. With that success, he now feels a greater responsibility to raise the bar and meet audience expectations with his upcoming projects.

Directed by Dominic Arun and featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role, ‘Lokah’ has been shattering box office records in Malayalam cinema. The success of a heroine-centric South Indian film earning such huge numbers is being seen as a rare achievement.
Produced by Dulquer under his banner Wayfarer Films, the film was made on a budget of around ₹30 crore. ‘Lokah’ also marks the seventh production from the company.
